Tuesday Tune In - 2 days late!

So,  I'm a bit behind on my progress.  So this week, I lost 4.4 pounds which is great after last weeks stall.  My current weight is 195 and I am so glad to see the numbers on the scale continue to fall.  I earned 38 activity points this week with my Zumba and running.

I am trying a new thing I read about this week, which is zig zagging my calories.  The idea is that when you constantly each the same number of calories, your body goes into "starvation mode" and holds onto the weight.  By tricking your body with random days of a calorie spike, you see the numbers move more.  This is a similar idea from the Body for Life diet which is 6 days of strict dieting and one day of fun.  I used this a lot when I started WW's, saving my 35 extra points for one day.  That worked for a while, but I found that after my Tuesday weigh in, the next day the numbers went up from my controlled binge.

I found a few websites that had converted WW's points into calories, which is not WW endorsed and may be totally bogus, but it's a guestimation anyway.  So, I'm continuing the 22 points daily base with allowance for activity extras when I'm hungry.  Then 2 days a week, I up the points to 31 and 35, so my Tuesday play day is gone away.  And so far it's working as the scale continues to move.

Now I still have to lose 9 lbs in 12 days to reach my goal, which is completely unrealistic and equates to a negative caloric intake, so my hopes aren't too high, but I'm not giving up yet.  I did lose 4.4 lbs this week, so crazy things could happen!
